aka JMADA aka J.M.A.D.A.
J.M.A.D.A. represents forty plus years of drumming expertise with members
ranging in age from seven to the mid forties. While playing their original
syncopated cadences and displaying precision maneuvers, J.M.A.D.A. strives
to preserve their unique, soulful style and tradition known throughout
the community.
There are several websites with information about JMADA. This one has been in existance the longest, and most likely to be found in the search engines.
Information
- Practices are held on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and sometimes Thursdays from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.
- Location: John Muir High School (under the canteen)
- No musical experience required
- All students must have a GPA of 2.0 or higher, a positive attitude, and dedication of wanting to learn.
- Sunday Practices are also held with alumni and some students
- Location: Charles White Park from 3:00 to 5:00 pm.
